About Me - Mark

For almost twenty years, I ran the Swan Inn in Denham Village and enjoyed my time there so much - I started a charity called the B600 Foundation and raised monies for local people need of some help.

We organised yearly Christmas lunch for our locals seniors and I meet some people along the - we raised monies through events mainly supported my Denham residents ( a great group of people)

Over the years, I've been fortunate to work alongside some remarkable chefs, waiters, managers, entertainers, and mentors who taught me the hospitality trade and everything it has to offer. We worked hard, often through long and unsociable hours. There may have been the occasional moan, but we always got on with the job. Looking back, those years were demanding, rewarding, and filled with memories that still make me smile.

My career later took me into entertainment management, working at private country clubs and Elstree Film Studios. Before long, I found myself on stage singing and dancing, while also learning the many aspects of working both in front of and behind the camera. I've been privileged to work in some amazing places alongside inspiring people who helped shape my career—thank you, Udo (showed me how to work in-front of a camera)

I moved down to Somerset for four year taking on a small pub with rooms but sadly this did not work with the hospitality industry on its knees -

I have moved back to where I love and now to starting a new venture - B600 Helping Hands
